The Cycle of Compassion: A way out of dissociation and traumatic stress

This is a paper that was presented at the ISSD (International Society for the Study of Dissociation) in 2001. In it therapists are guided to understand the internal and external world of survivors of childhood abuse. Through learning to apply the Cycles of the Heart as proposed here, both the client and the counselor can learn more about themselves and how they relate with the world.
